Taking a look at the Google Font Api and the Google Font Directory has been on my to do list for some time now. I took the time the other night to play around with the fonts a little on one of my projects. The font directory is an interesting idea and I'm curious to see if the project grows quickly. I liked a several of the current fonts in the directory though found them to look a little aliased in certain browsers.

Higher Ground Mango theme -version 1.1
Posted by John
I made a few corrections to my Higher Ground Mango theme tonight. I forgot the pagination links to older and newer posts at the bottom of the index.cfm and also added the <mango:Event name="beforePostContentEnd" /> tag at the end of the post content to allow for the viewCount plugin by Paul klinkenberg to work correctly. If you are interested in trying out the theme go to my projects page to download it.
Higher Ground Mango Theme

One of my goals for this blog was to learn how to create themes for Mango. I looked at the guides for creating a theme on the Mango site and Benedict Lowndes blog and then started to try to make my own custom changes to the existing Happy Blog theme. While this worked in theory, my lack of design skills immediately stood out as the theme I created from customizing the Happy Blog theme was atrociously horrible looking.
